JMA Clinic Vocational Program

The vocational program at the clinic provides those families who participate in the nutrition program a "hand up" rather than a continual "hand out." The focus is on providing vocational training for the (mostly) single mothers who participate in the nutrition program.

Training is provided in cooking, sewing, and hair care. Students who graduate from the program are equipped to find employment in the marketplace and to provide for their families.
